Notes
- Nordex no longer manufactures wind turbines in Denmark and is no longer included in the statistics. This explains the decline in 2003. The turnover of the remaining Danish manufacturers increased by 5%.
- Danish suppliers of wind turbine components had an additional export to foreign manufacturers of approx. 1-2 billion DKK per year from 1995 to 2002 see WindPower Note no. 2, November 1995.
- The graphic cannot be used to calculate the price of a wind turbine in combination with “Wind turbine sales – MW” and “Wind turbine sales – units”. The turnover includes the sale of turbines, export of components, spare parts as well as service and license sales. In some cases, the turnover only includes the price of a nacelle, in other case the price includes the complete turbine, incl. rotor, tower and foundation, road construction, transformer, grid connection, service contract and planning. The content of the contracts can vary from one year to the next.
