Research and Development
Universities and research institutions are important partners for the Danish wind industry. The strong Danish research institutions, which in many areas carry out research at a high international level, contribute to create new knowledge used in the industry.
Equally important is access to reasearch based education at a high level for Danish engineers and other professionals.
An important activity for the Danish Wind Industry Association in regard to research and development is the Megavind Partnership. In the Megavind Partnership the Danish wind power industry has formulated joint recommendations for the Danish effort of research, development and demonstration within wind power.
