The Yangtze River Delta (Shanghai and 2 neighbour provinces, Jiangsu and Zhejiang) is the best developed area in China and most important manufacturing/trading base. A cluster of wind power has been established. Many wind companies are located here from turbine assembly to components producing, covering the whole wind supply chain. 

We’d like to arrange a fact finding trip to Shanghai, Wuxi and Jiangyin (in Jiangsu province) to visit wind companies, local governments and industrial parks. The purpose is to find out how the Chinese wind supply chain has been developed.

With the participation of more than 1000 delegates, 200 exhibitors and 60+ speakers from the national and international wind power industry, WIND POWER INDIA 2011 provides a never before global experience of being amidst a distinguished gathering of high level government officials, policy makers and regulators, as well as eminent financiers, academics, and industry chieftains from India and abroad. The mega exhibition to be set up in an area of 4400 sq.m. would demonstrate state-of-the-art technologies, R&D, and major innovations, besides offering exclusive facilities for product launching for the wind and its ancillary industry.

The WINDPOWER 2010 Conference & Exhibition concluded in Dallas, Texas, with about 20,000 attendees including a broad range of industry leaders and with nearly 1,400 companies exhibiting the latest in wind power technology over an area the size of six football fields. These numbers establish WINDPOWER as the largest energy trade show in America and the world’s largest wind energy conference. Looking ahead to WINDPOWER 2011, three-fourths of the exhibition space has already been sold to exhibiting companies.
