| Lamps There are no windows in the tower so it is important to have lights inside. |

| Ladder All towers have a ladder so you can climb up and down. The ladder is positioned in a way so you can rest your back against the wall if you get tired on the way up or down. |

| Controller The wind turbine controller is a computer, which checks that everything works as it should. If a part breaks down, the controller will call a computer at the wind turbine owner’s house to report the problem. |

| Flange A flange is a ring with bolts that keeps the tower sections together. |
