About us

The Danish Wind Industry Association (DWIA) is a non-profit association whose purpose is to promote wind energy at home and abroad.

The association was founded in 1981. DWIA today represents 99.9 per cent of Danish wind turbine manufacturing measured in MW and more than 200 companies with activities in the Danish wind industry.

The association is a member of the European Wind Energy Association, EWEA.
