Be Creative - think wind!  ..and the winners are:

 

The winners of Creative Offshore Challenge ’08 were revealed at the award ceremony at Århus city hall. Mayor Nicolai Wammen and the Danish wind industry were proud to give the 1st prize of 5,000 euro and a helicopter ride to Nick Johansen, Jose Simon and Ryan Danyluk students at the Technical university of Denmark, for their project about scour prevention.

The 1,500 euro innovation award was won by Esben Mortensen, Christian Vad Karsten, Kasper Bislev Kallestrup and Mathias Nyman Rasmussen also students from the Technical university of Denmark. The presented a project about floating foundations for offshore turbines.
