The export from the Danish wind industry was in 2006 27 billion krones. In 2006 the Danish manufactures sold 5.439 MW; power roughly corresponding to 33 percentage of the global market.

If turbine wings and other components are included, the Danish wind industry has a market share of 40 percentages on the global market.

In 2006, 99 percentage of the produced power was exported.
