About The Talent Factory

The Talent Factory is created in co-operation between 16 leading wind power companies that represent the broad span of technical challenges in the industry.

The purpose of The Talent Factory is to promote knowledge and interest about wind power among engineer students. The wind power industry offers the engineer student a unique possibility to combine a strong career with working for the environment.

The background for the initiative is that Denmark is world leading on wind power and the industry is experiencing yearly growth rates of 25-30 percent. The industry is therefore faced with an increased need to recruit qualified employees to maintain the leading position. A study made by the Danish Wind Industry Association shows that the industry needs approximately 150 new engineers every year.
