Wild about Wind
How wild are you about wind?
The Danish Wind Industry Association asks this question in the campaign “wild about wind”, which will focus on the advantages of wind energy throughout the summer and autum of 2006.
What will happen?

From July 1st until August 14th the campaign will draw attention to wind turbines in the landscape

From August 14th until October 14th the campaign will focus on the many jobs and the technology that the wind industry creates.
-
From October 14th until December 14th, the environmental and the economic advantages of wind power that will be emphasized.
Wind power today covers app. 20 percent of the Danish electricity consumption. However, an extension of wind power is necessary to secure the future energy supply and to maintain Denmark as a centre of excellence in wind energy development.
If we are to ensure that new wind turbines will be installed in Denmark, we need your help to inform about the good things, which wind power leads to. For the negative myths about wind turbines are so dominant that they quickly cast a shadow on the excitement about wind although a majority of the Danes support wind energy.
You can help us spreading the good news and the facts about wind power. The campaign invites you to actively reflect on wind power and gives you opportunities to express your opinion.

Send countless electronic postcards to your local politician, your friends, and family and tell them about the advantages of wind power.
